III INTERNATIONAL COMPOSITION COMPETITION "FRANCISCO ESCUDERO"
Hauspoz, the Town Hall of Zarautz and The County Council of Gipuzkoa calls for the III International Composition Competition "Francisco Escudero" whose prize ceremony will take place in Zarautz (Basque Country) on saturday 18 of September 2010.
The objective of the contest is to promote the creation of pieces for solo accordion and for accordion in chamber music.
Closing date will be 10 September 2010. Works does not exceed 10 minutes. The works of chamber music must be composed for a maximum of four players in which there is at least one accordion.
ARRASATE ACCORDION COMPETITIONS
Hauspoz, the Town Hall of Arrasate and The County Council of Gipuzkoa call the XVIII "Arrasate Hiria" International Accordion Competition, the XXXI Accordion Competition of Gipuzkoa and the XXIII Accordion Festival of Gipuzkoa that will take place in Arrasate-Mondragón (Basque Country) between the 5th and the 8th of december, 2010.
The competitions have a pyramidal structure, containing both age and level pedagogical aspects.
COURSE OF CONTEMPORARY MUSIC FOR ACCORDION
The course was given by the composers José María Sánchez Verdú and Gabriel Erkoreka. It was run from the 15th until the 18th September 2009 in Zarautz.
